Snyd ikke dig selv for en oplevelse ud over det sædvanlige, når New Zealand Youth Choir giver koncert i Stefanskirken d. 2. juli kl. 17. Koret tager den lange rejse fra New Zealand til Danmark for at deltage i Europas største kor-festival "European Choir Games" i Aarhus, og i vores har været så heldige at få dem overtalt til at give koncert i Stefanskirken i den forbindelse!

Koret tæller 55 bragende dygtige, unge sangere, og du kan se frem til en sprudlende koncert med et af verdens bedste ungdomskor.

"From classics of Western European music to the dynamism of Waiata-ā-ringa (Māori action songs), from emotive spirituals through to music from Samoa, the New Zealand Youth Choir boasts a thrillingly wide variety of music. Be prepared for the incredible vocal skill and unmatched energy of their choreographed performances, a combination that’s seen them previously crowned as a winner of the 'Choir of the World' competition."

The New Zealand Youth Choir (NZYC) has achieved considerable success since its formation in 1979. Performances in New Zealand and thirteen international tours including visits to the UK, Europe, Canada, USA, Australia, Singapore, Russia, the Republic of Korea, China and the Pacific Islands have firmly established its reputation for consistency, energy and excellence. The Choir is comprised of around fifty 18 to 25-year-old singers and operates on a 3-year audition cycle.
